Seriously I shouldn't listen to music while studying because a) half of the songs start bugging me and I get unfocused b) I end up spending most of my time looking for more songs I can study to
But since I do listen while studying and can't stand all the small noises I hear when there isn't music
what is good music people listen to?
Tinaki listens to electronica while programming, but i'm not a programmer so let's try for more softer sounds? Something sort of calming?
p.s. already have that study thing from amazon ha (the best study music blah - it's good but I need more than just classical)

Music helps you relax and makes it easier to study, pick any type of music that you like. Your body secretes some-hula-baloo-named hormone that helps you relax, focus and improves your overall capacity to memorize what you've studied~~
I just listen to what hits my ear well, so just load your player into shuffle and repeat. Let it roll!

I find quick, up-beat music helps when I'm doing something thinking intensive things but for studying I prefer slower, quieter music to drown out background noise but not catchy/attention grabbing enough distract me. (ie classical)

Pandora is my best friend. I listen to everything. I have a station for a shitton of genres. Rap, rock, alternative, metal, jpop, classical piano, classical guitar. Whatever I feel like doing.
It is sometimes distracting though, but I feel distraction to choose music is better than stopping to play games... current bad habit duh
