So I've only watched a little, but I definitely endorse Daily Lives of High School Boys -- I'm laughing so hard.

Next quarter I'll be in a popular culture animation and manga studies class to finish off my Japanese major, so maybe I'll learn some interesting facts
or at least get to watch a lot of anime in class. I wonder if the manga will be assigned reading then or if we sit in class and look at slides.

I'm in a Japanese film class right now and all we've done is a tiny bit of syllabus stuff then just watched films.
Not that I think anyone should, but there's this really intense movie based on a real guy's life and work called Mishima: A life in four chapters. I'll be watching a lot of
borderline weird slash weird movies this quarter, just the way the teacher is. He says the film list isn't some weird public display of his fettishes, because there happens
to be a lot of sadomasochistic themes in most of the movies then he said the manga you guys read probably has a lot more sadomasochistic stuff than these films anyway.
And then it was just quiet cause yeah probably.

Anyway.

Tried to watch Tiger and Bunny after a shining endorsement. I have to say the first episodes were extremely awesome, then I don't know. I hate plot lines that revolve on stupidity etc. Not that I think it does, I think in many ways the anime tries to address holes which can come up, but at the same time, any plot in any medium that relies on memory loss in my opinion needs to work harder.

Haven't really been doing anything really.

I'm taking five classes this quarter so ... whatever. I just read a lot, eat, listen to my melodramatic roommates etc.
I'll write a longer post somewhere else ... or where is this?

I'm so tired for some reason. I'm not going to complain that it's midterm week because anyone who has ever had midterm week knows it sucks, and knows that the only thing that sucks more is listening to people whine about how much it sucks.
