i just qualified today for tier 1 korean dota league, we drew our nsl grand finals opponents in the group and 2-0'd them, so fucking good

grand finals is like in 6 days, feels so good, hope we 3-0 them in grand finals

January:
went to a good friend's wedding
breckenridge, co for snowboarding for 7 days
went to a pharmacy school interview
got accepted in said school
snow like a mf'er and got shut in
birthday that ended up very drunk and blacked out

February:
got another pharmacy school interview
more crazy snow caused airplane delays
went to texas for 1 day for a best friend's wedding and got crazy
2nd pharmacy school interview
today

Woohoo. Got in at least Finally. Looking to do some real work for a change starting in August and disappear off the face of the Earth.

Yes I did read the last chapter, and I celebrated the end of this bullshit journey. Started getting so effing tired of it and I knew the ending was coming so it wasn't much of a surprise.
Hope you were able to enjoy single awareness day. I most certainly did because a friend's wedding was on that day. What more awareness can that cause?

work is going alright. working at kaiser while trying to get into a clinical laboratory scientist training program. Asa applied for nursing school, she should hear back from it March.

I'm glad you guys stop by and post every now and then to chat for a bit. I've recently hit a dead end recently when I noticed so many manga ending, and now I have no idea what to do with my free time. Never did get into Kimi no Iru Machi, because I saw that the manga was going to be an awkward train wreck. When Naruto ends I'll really hit that dead end, not that I even like it lmao. If you guys got any recommendations for manga/games let me know. It kinda weird since our generation grew up on video games and now we are transitioning or are already adults, and I feel like they just are not the same anymore. #peterpangrewup

On a not so serious note I tried playing AO again and found out it was bought by Nexon or something, and I couldn't even play on my acct that had nothing on it lmao :kanaface:I'm so sad lol. As far as I can tell there is only Steve, Shig, Kana, and Kuru posting here. So there are five of us left. RIP everyone else I suppose   I don't even think they have these faces anymore on AO.

Dude, got a new laptop. Its pretty beast.... for my standards, haha. I'm pretty much over competitive pc gaming. Just trying to finish up my backlog of 360 games. If you find a decent MMO that's free, I may indulge for just a bit.

Thanks man. Been waiting a loooooong time haha. And didn't know you worked for Kaiser. I had forgotten that you worked somewhere in the health field as well. My boss' wife works over at Quintiles. Dunno how much actual scientific testing they do but I know they take care of tons of trial testings. Let Asa know I'm hoping she gets some good news soon! Hell yeah its been a really long freaking time huh. I remember distinctly when I was doing those stupid Euro dungeons, I was doing some summer school credits, haha. Clearly it was an easy class and I played AO all the time. Before/after that, I would stream anime on 1 screen and raid in WoW/AO on the main. Such good times and memories. It was only because I loved anime that I joined the SOSBrigade in the first place!

I'm constantly searching for manga to read though not as entirely dependent as I used to be. Here are 2 lists that I still update and keep up with. Keeps track of all my confusing shit. And yes, I do read some R+ shit. Deal with it.

Man, if you wanna talk about philosophical shit, I can do this all day. I have these little kid cousins of mine who are around 8-15. They grew up with these fancy ass tablets and mobile phones and I'm like thinking good old days of playing on dial-up, spoiled much? Before those bulky gameboys, we had to sit around a TV to play games. Before that, we had to even go to arcades, haha. But yeah, nuff of that crap. Life goes on, we gotta try to get by or satisfy ourselves somehow. In my case, I actually don't want to do anything and be rich but I ain't gonna win the lottery so I'm doing the next best thing. Doing something I'm good at, father actually "approves" and may someday support my lazy lifestyle. Gonna keep hoping.

Hi all, just checking in instead of lurking around for once. And yes, I'm still alive (kinda).

Haven't been up to much lately, just got a job as a software dev consultant. Typical code monkey life, nothing too exciting. Highlight's probably the time when I got flown down to San Fran a few months back for a conference. Other than that, I've just been sitting around staring into space or coding.
